Mañana is why
In Costa Rica, things move slowly. Everything happens mañana (tomorrow). That's part of the reason Kari fell in love with the place. Her mortgage was all paid off thanks to an inheritance from her dad—but even so, she thought her investment advisor Tiffany would laugh at her dream of retiring in Costa Rica at 55. Instead, they put their heads together and made a plan. Now Kari is nine short years away from the retirement of her dreams—minus the golf membership. That might take another year or two.
